December 8, 2016 (Kaukauna, Wis.)—Parishioners got a first look at the renovation of the sanctuary at Holy Cross Catholic Church, where construction is nearing completion. Building updates include:
Interior and exterior improvements
Relocated choir area
Open areas for parishioners with disabilities to sit during worship
The nearly $1 million project will not be fully finished until spring, but the parish is thankful the sanctuary can be used throughout Advent. A number of finishing touches are still in progress. Additional work includes new furniture, painting and refurbishment of the sanctuary dome.
The Heart of the Valley Times Villager featured construction project highlights in the December 3 edition.
