Planned Chilton Demolition Makes Way for New Growth

March 16, 2016 (Kaukauna, Wis.) – James J. Calmes and Sons, Inc. is giving Chilton’s Premier Financial Credit Union a major facelift in the form of full demolition and complete rebuild. On March 21the current building at 50 E. Chestnut Street will be completely demolished by TRC MidValley Utilities, another of James J. Calmes & Sons, Inc. divisions.

Demolition of the existing facility provides space for a new Premier Financial Credit Union building on the same site. James J. Calmes and Sons has also been hired to complete the new construction. The building overhaul more than doubles the size of the current existing 1,800-square-foot Chilton branch. When completed, the upgraded facility’s footprint will feature a 3,638-square feet first floor, 1,120-square-feet canopy and a 1,145-square-feet basement.

Steve Nothem, President/CEO of Premier Financial Credit Union, said his team was told that “the existing building is structurally inadequate and needs to come down.” James J. Calmes and Sons will begin the demolition process at approximately 8:30 AM on March 21.
