Fox Valley Church Construction and Renovation Projects In Progress

Several churches in the Fox Valley region have partnered with James J. Calmes Construction for both new construction and renovation projects. Currently, three local churches have projects in various stages of the design and construction process.

Construction on the addition to Covenant Church, 1601 S. Covenant Lane, Appleton, is well underway. This project includes a 5,756-square-foot expansion to the worship center and fellowship hall. The addition is scheduled for completion in late September and will provide new space for the growing church community.

The renovation of Christ the Rock Community Church, W6254 U.S. 10 114, Menasha, continues to make progress and is still scheduled for completion in early 2017. View all the details on this 82,00-square-foot remodel in the May project updates post.

Holy Cross Catholic Church, 309 Desnoyer St., Kaukauna, recently started the design phase of a facility renovation. Upgrades will include new windows, interior finishes and mechanical updates.

As the busy summer season comes to a close, you can expect more James J. Calmes updates soon. Check back often for new project reports.

The Covenant Church addition was completed in September, and new renovations continue. James J. Calmes and Sons received the note below after first service in the newly constructed space.

“I wanted to let you know that we held our first worship services Christmas Eve and again yesterday. You need to know that there was not a single person attending that was not overwhelmed! The worship space is simply stunning, and the way the music sounded was amazing. The space is grand, yet warm. Todd, thank you for all you did over the last few weeks to make this possible; no one really believed it could happen. And you have great subs that also signed up to get us in there by Christmas.” - Don Voogt, Covenant Church Building Committee Chairman
